I'm surprised at myself to why I didn't submit this sooner as this was done ages ago, I guess i just forgot or just got lazy sometimes, well, at least it's here now.
I decided to try and officially draw my version of the spouses of the Brotherhood of Guardians, instead of just doing 'designs' for them, I changed them up just like the Guardians, but I stepped it up as I did change a few of their names. How about we get to know these beauties huh? ;v;
Up first is Serenity, (formerly named Siwa-Ra) Edmund's wife, like many of the Guardian partners, she never made an appearance, or not even mentioned, just given a name as filler, i wanted to make one of the spouses or even a guardian physically disabled and she was the one that I chose, as in case you could tell or not, she only has one arm. It was quite an interesting touch to add, especially that it's a reason for her to keep that poncho I adored. And do you noticed those beads on her arm? >w> Do they look familiar? I also decided to change her name as Siwa just wasn't warming up to me, I had to decided between Sierra or Serenity, and i went with the last want because I liked it better. ^^ Now, I should get to the part about her exactly.

Serenity was born physically disabled, having lacked a right arm at birth (either from a natural deformity or from a disease that was in her arm), so through most of her life, she's had to make due with just the one, constantly given help, despite her own wishes to be independent and try to do things on her own, not only was she reluctant and hesitant about help, she appeared cold and emotionless on the outside (sound familiar) but really, she was just shy and hesitant about everything, just wanting to be independent, she the majority of the time, she just read books, usually at home, at school or even at the local library. When she was a young adult or an older teen, she took a part time job at the Library, still wearing her poncho she's had since her teens to cover her missing arm. One day, a young male echidna by the name of Edmund was there studying or just casually reading, he noticed she was trying to put away some books, but it’s not easy when you have just one arm. He sees she having a difficult time, which didn't help when she dropped the books she was attempting to put back. So he immediately came to help. Edmund was confused to why she wouldn’t use her other arm… until he saw that she didn’t have one. She was stubborn for his help but she finally accepted it, after a small 'argument' on how he'd only help her due to her missing arm but he admitted that he didn't realise until afterwards and even if she did or not, he still would've helped her. After that they began to talk and get to know eachother. Starting their relationship. When they finally get married and all of that, since Ed proved to be just as nice and respectful to her as if she was normal in her opinion (as she feels she’s useless a lot of the time Ed shows and tells her otherwise) but then she got Pregnant with a child. She was constantly worried it'd be disabled like she was, but Edmund had faith it wouldn’t be and it’d be perfectly fine. When she saw her little puggle hatched from his egg, she was crying with joy, her little Steppenwolf. She kept saying how perfect he was and held him perfectly fine with one arm, she even found him putting on her bracelets on his dreadlocks, which is why he has ones very similar to her own bracelets. A few years passed, Steppenwolf proved to be a healthy child, having no health issues nor disabilities but unfortunately. She soon got a disease (most likely one that stemmed from the one in her removed arm or something like caner), when Step was only like 4-6 years old, so since there was no cure, she was bound to pass away. As heartbreaking as it was for Edmund, she was simply happy that she got to spend time with her family on her last day. Even leaving a tape for Steppenwolf due to him being so young to not understand death but for him to realise that she won't be back for a long time, but he's yet to watch it due to him not feeling ready to do so.

Whoops, I rambled a bit there but Next is Eri, she's always been a sweetheart in my canon and she was fun to draw in that spotty dress of hers. l3 And thinking of a backstory like hers was so much fun! As i wanted to make it unexpected! x3 She's such a huge sweetheart though, it's why I had to have someone like her pair up with a grump like Steppenwolf.
----
Despite how sweet and caring Eri (Eri-Ka formally) seems to be, she didn't grow up in the happiest households, her parents were strict and controlling, having very precise control over her as soon as he could understand them, she wasn't allowed sweets, sugars or unhealthy foods, only waters vitamins or 'healthy' foods, she wasn't allowed to do 'foolish' actives and she had a constant schedule that she would be punished for if she didn't follow it day by day, her parents would only be interested with her work-ethic in school, not with her fun activities, not with the things she made them which she found in the bin later on, and if she failed a class or did poorly with her work, she'd be shunned and forced to study until she couldn't read properly with her eyes. During high school, she had a cooking class which she adored greatly, it made her feel immense happiness doing it but of course when she asked for permission to do it, her parents forbid her from doing so, wanting her to study health, law or politics, she of course, didn't. As soon as she was able to do so, she left, not den with a proper goodbye because as usual, her parents were working, even though they still found out her address and tried to keep making her do what they wanted her to do but she didn't respond, she just studied and got a job in a cafe as a maid and cook, which made her more then happy and made her sweetness last instead of growing up bitter from her parents neglectful treatment. Even so, while being a maid one morning, she saw a particular male customer who... looked miserable, much like she did when she was still at home with her parents, while she wanted to talk to him, she accidentally did spill some drinks on him on accident, which got them actually talking from an awkward start, but it sparked a friendship that would turn into a beautiful relationship. Eri felt that Steppenwolf was one of the best people in her life, someone that was always there for her and understood her, and she would be told and felt how happy she made him feel in return which made her feel much more happier in return. So the couple grew up to be happy and even the small family that came grew up happily.

Now for Luna, who I haven't put too much planning into but enough. l3 I wasn't fully satisfied with her outfit at first but it's fine now, I might have an alternative and more casual one for her. ^^ I loved adding her glasses she still reminds me so much of Connie from SU!

Luna (formerly named Luna-Ma) came from a rather large family, being the only daughter and second child out of four kids, along with being the only daughter, she was the only one that wasn't interested in sports, more so in sciences and space, but her family didn't think little of her for that, they'd let her do what made her happy. She knew Moonwatcher since they were quite young, as they lived in the same neighbourhood during their teen years, and went to the same high school, being in similar classes and being very close friends due to their similar interests. They were both bullied a small bit but they didn't pay too much mind to it, especially after they got into a relationship. As she grew older she became a Professor of Science, more so astronomy and cosmology but she was capable of other branches of science, Moonwatcher would occasionally visit during her classes, usually entertaining the students and embarrassing and teasing Luna while trying to push him out while she teaching. When it came to raising Harlan she loved him completely, understanding and not caring similar to his father that he was a bit more sensitive as a infant, being happy to take care of him. He kind of stemmed from her interest in reading but not in science, more so in general just reading and occasional science of health.

Lastly Dawn, she was fun to come up with in design, a little hard but fun. I love drawing her side-plate. x3

Much to your surprise, Dawna (formally Dawn-Na) isn't as girly as she appears to be, she's a confident, tough, and temperamental girl, being childhood sweethearts with Harlan, who even though he was a little different to other boys, she liked him and defended him. She occasionally teased him for being a lot more gentle and skittish for a male but she didn't mean any harm to it as she liked him the way he was, he even supported her dream to be a designer or a sculptor with her love for the visual arts, as you could tell with the constant colours on her clothes and even the chalk/dye in her hair, she misses the crazy days of colouring her hair. XD She makes a living as a Sculptor making all sorts of Figurines for customers, weather they be cute, detailed or formal, mostly cute and mythical as she prefers and specialises in that. Harlan loved that about her, he even keeps some of her sculptures and drawings with him. She was happy to find her little Rembrandt had a spark for art like she did, they always had friendly arguments or one-sided arguments on who was better, as her son had confidence issues even though she knew well he was talented, she supported him the best she could, even with his disorder and his depression, she loves him dearly was glad he made the right choice in life.

That's all I have, sorry I rambled on there but i wanted to explain bits and pieces about these lovely ladies. XD I have more coming soon, just gotta sketch one more then it'll be out soon. ;w;
