Als wir heranreiften, entwickelten sich auch unsere Erdenkörper zu einer höheren Form weiter.
Wir erlangten die Kräfte und den Adel der dunklen Götter. Mit jeder Veränderung wurde unser Interesse an den belanglosen Intrigen der Vampire und restlichen Bewohner Nosgoths geringer.
Stets war es Kain, an dem sich die Veränderung als erstem vollzog. Hatte der Gebieter eine neue Gabe erhalten, folgte ihm einer der unsrigen innerhalb einer Dekade nach.
Das heißt, bis ich die Kühnheit besaß, mich noch vor meinem Gebieter weiterzuentwickeln.
Mir wuchsen Flügel. Und für diese Dreistigkeit wurde ich verdammt...
