I have no idea what this is, none what so ever.A little doodling for my leisure after work, around two hours?

I *LOVED* the use of texture and the overall contrast in the whole image, Charlie. When I saw the thumbnail, I had the impression that the hair didn't have any volume - all white - and thought how an interesting result that could bring, but seeing the actual thing is even better.

how did you do that halftone pattern so even!!?? ive been llooking for this technique everywhere!!

Looks like a fairly straightforward overlay of the pattern...just lay your halftone pattern over the image, set the layer mode to multiply/lighten (or whatever gives the desired effect) and erase where it doesn't belong.
As for this piece, a little warping would have been cool, and would have helped a lot for "reading" the scarf, which initially I mistook for hair. Don't get me wrong, its nicely executed work~!
