A frown was fixed upon her features, and the sun beating on her back was sinking beyond the horizon faster than she liked to think as Raksha carried them past the first signs of civilization they'd seen in days; It's warmth, usually a welcome relief, did nothing against the biting cold that seeped through her fur. Was it truly the weather, though? Perhaps the dread was a more likely culprit. The pillars they passed had crumbled and fallen to the test of time, but even the remnants were larger than anything she'd ever seen-- Rivaling even the Dragon Temple in the desert lands. The shadows grew longer before them, and they still had a ways to get before they reached their mark, but the inky black shapes unnerved the rider. What exactly would they be up against, indeed?'
