Description
This is the art I made for Raincrow making the 1111th bump in my charity thread on Gaia. When I asked her what she wanted, she said, "an amethyst." Of course, that's not nearly enough, so I added a few little things to it. This is placed into the 3-d section of DeviantArt because "3 dimensional renderings account for the majority of the artwork." 100% done in Photoshop Elements 2.

Once upon a time, the seamonkeys were jealous of the land dwellers and all they had. So they made for themselves a wonderful necklace from a large amethyst. The land dwellers saw the necklace and wanted it for themselves. After 25 years of war, the seamonkeys were losing. So they sacrificed all their pennies and summoned forth the ancient seamonkey gods. The gods placed a powerful curse on the necklace so that whoever wore it that was not a seamonkey would slowly become a waterbreather and suffocate to death in the thin air of the land dwellers.
