AGH. She was difficult. Like. Omg. 'Cause seriously. What does the most beautiful woman in the world look like? I don't even know! @___@ Bahaha. So here's what I came up with. xD My friend told me she looks like a cross between Megan Fox and Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Excuse me, plz, it's not like I want to offend you or something, but...
Your drawing is good. But it's not Hancock in any case, it looks more some kind of woman with Hancock's hair wearng Hancock's clothes.
I mean, drawing anime-characters in realistic style means you don't only draw some real person, but also to save their unique feauters (I know you was trying to do that, and you got good result with Shanks, for example).
You kind of rushed it because of rather small forehead, lips, eyebrows and a bit rough cheekbones.
I know I may sound a bit rude, but if you want, I may do an overpaint on your pic to show exactly what I mean

Wow, why would you use her work without her permission? That's just plain rude and inhumane. If someone blatantly states they don't want you to overpaint their picture, then guess what.. THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO OVERPAINT THEIR PICTURE. I know it might be hard to understand, but that's what it means. Besides, the whole point of this is REALISTIC One Piece, not something out of a cover on a Sephora bag. I understand your good intentions, but you didn't have to go out and just ruin a perfectly good picture WITHOUT her permission. I hope you could find it in your heart to apologize to her for your insensitivity because trust me, I'm sure YOU wouldn't want anyone stealing your work and painting over it.

And I don't plan to use her work anywhere else. I was trying to show details I wasn't able to explain in words. I am not STEALING it, please be more attentive.
And to answer your question - I'm always glad to get a qood critique, and if someone makes me an overpaint, I'm glad whenever it was done with my permission or not.

I doubt you apologized from where I'm standing. Well, tell me, did she give you PERMISSION? If she didn't then, guess what? You stole it. Trust me, I'm being more attentive than you are. Did YOU ask for how she's feeling? I doubt you did.
That's you. If you expect everyone to be exactly like you then you should just lock yourself up in your room and live in your own world. I know I'm in no place to say such things because my art comes no where near yours or hers, but I have enough manners and etiquette to know what's right and wrong.
I'm not making a big problem out of this. If anything, YOU ARE. I'm just asking that you go and apologize, point out your wrongs to her, and the like, but you're getting wildly defensive on me. Why would you ever think I want everyone to be exactly like me? When I give advice, I don't expect the person to completely follow them, it's up to them.
Besides, the author and me have already talked about that in a private discussion and cleared all the things up. Nobode feels offended anymore (and never did). So there is no need for hysterical comments from both of us.

I would just like to say a couple of things here- 1. I think that this version of Boa is actually more realistic than your repaint, the repaint still looks somewhat anime-ish. 2. It's considered to be rather rude if you repaint over someone's artwork when they've outright stated they would rather you didn't do that. By all means, do your own Boa painting- but if someone says 'please don't paint over my artwork', respect that in the future.
