Truth be told, I had expected Advanced Generation to be the last Pokemon series, with an expected ending being Ash Ketchum returning to Pallet Town in the Kanto Region after having bid his farewells to Brock, May, and Max....and he finds Misty waiting for him at his mother's home, and some romantic music comes up as the two lock lips before the scene fast forwards to several years later, to their wedding day, after which a montage of scenes from the past ten years of the Pokemon anime (with the full version of the first season opening theme from the Japanese or English versions, respectively, playing in the background while credits scroll).
THAT was what I had kind of expected.

I've been thinking that if i give another party rights to adapt any of my works, i would consider trying to be in charge of origional characters & make it so that the only changes they would be allowed to make in any kind of adaptions are excluding parts for a faster pace or a low budget on the condition they use quality control, suitable actors (both live & vocal), edit for a 9/10 or under-type rating, political appropriateness for nationwide audiences & changes for the better depending on fan reaction.
