Pyrite worked as a botanist under his diamond on his home planet, studying various extraterrestrial plants and flora. His position wasn't the most excitable of them all, but surprisingly, he enjoyed it for its simplicity, yet disliked it due to its lack of danger. So, Pyrite made the danger. In doing so, his creations overran the lab, pushing him and other botanists out. Blameless, Pyrite quickly took to working under the engineering sector where he and Snowflake met. They fought plant monsters and fell in love. Yes.
