This piece is heavily inspired by NaraPara, and her drawing of her oc Jessie in an outfit exactly this one. Like she in her post says, it's not supposed to be fully accurate to the Italian folk-inspired dress, and that she was just doing her own thing, which in my opinion turned out beautifully. And so, I decided to try her design on my little one, Sarai! Even if she happens to be a bit of a skirt-girly, she definitely isn't the girliest girl that is out there, and trust me when I say that.

Please take in account that I'm not trying to steal anyone's designs or ideas, I simply wanted to try this cute dress on my little one as well once it sparked my inspiration. I had to use a reference since I wasn't able to come up with a pose that wouldn't be too complicated for my abilities to draw, since well.. How the hell do you draw hands and legs?! But I'm satisfied either way with this one.

Out to the festival the two go, to have fun & dance in their matching dresses. Having the good time they do deserve.
