My Hulk Drawing

Here’s my final drawing from the new Thor: Ragnarok posters! I’ve decided to just stick with the three that I’ve done, they took so long to do and I’m just ready to move onto other things. This one was definitely (as predicted) the most time consuming one. It has so much detail in it, the last time I did details in metal work like this was when I drew Rocket Raccoon’s gun. I must admit I was dreading the watercolouring part on this one and that was due to the green on green. I did so many shades of green on Hulk himself that I seriously was dreading pulling off the smoke effect but I surprised myself with how well this actually worked out! This was probably the most fun I’ve had drawing, watercolouring is the most relaxing thing and I really enjoyed the challenge, the way I’ve built up colours on these pieces, it makes me want to do acrylic paints… but I don’t think I’m quite there yet haha but I’m always up for the challenge of using other mediums in art!
