Description
This is the piano we found inside the abandoned farm house - it's rotted away, even the strings are mostly rust. The keys have collapsed into the frame so they're flat. I loved this piano, lol.Related content

Makes you wonder what tunes the piano played in its prime.

Thanks! I think if anyone tried to move the thing, it would collapse, that's how rotted it was. The whole place was like that; a skeletal form of a home. Really neat.

I live in a really, really small town in North Dakota - we have houses like this all over the place, but they're really only pleasantly explorable in the fall. Being abandoned and all, the grass is very long, and the mosquitos will drain you before you even get to the house, except in autumn, lol. Winter is impossible with the 12 foot snow drifts.

This is an excellent capture. The composition is just right and the piano is a great subject. The only thing that bothers me a little is the top of the piano is blown out a little by your flash. Maybe just try to adjust in in PS. Just a minor detail, I like the shot.
