Description The back of Mundon church in Essex, last time I was here, I had to fight my way through all the long grass.
To be honest, I liked the ruined feel of the long untamed lawn.

Its a weird place. Feels really haunted im going up there soon to get some pictures of it. Its so odd that noones bothered to sort the subsidence out and even weirder that they've let the graves be claimed by the woodland.

If you go behind the church through the footpath theres some petrified trees that would also make a great picture. Im going up there during the summer when the trees will be bleached white by the sun.

Nice angle/perspective on this, I like the high contrasts, nice texture blends, too. Love the architecture, well done.

Great picture. I am a huge fan of "good" black and white work, and this is certainly that. It could maybe do with being a little brighter though.

Lovely. Have you ever tried infrared film? IR would give this a really ethereal look. You'd need an old metal bodied camera though. The modern ones with the carbon fiber and resin bodies are transluscent to infrared light and your film would get fogged to some extent.
