School work from my self imposed Char's School of Hard Knocks... and Drawing!™
You can follow along with me here: [link] Both a collaboration with and a worked-in school assignment, I am colouring Swan's Moth-Dragon for the LJ community dragon_book. This is just the rough shading reference for when I add the colouring.
It's meant to look like a biologist has just shown a spotlight/ flashlight upon the little critter at night as he is resting on a branch. I'm hoping this one turns out as well as I hope it does

OH! This gives me an idea for my next tattoo. I want something on my right calf and this would wrap perfectly and be original. Well...not my original but both of yours. It looks like a Luna Moth may have been inspiration.

Cool! Well if you want something more "tattoo-y" let me know and I can see what I can come up with (I can't promise it will be quick- the price ya pay as family though hehee!). I'm glad you like the concept, I really liked Swandog's linework, it made it really fun to work with.
