the whole thing looks pretty well done to be honest. i love the contrast between the figure and the background. kinda creates a highlight to were each stands out on its own yet still complement one another. great job

Not sure how you "failed" the background. I hate drawing environments myself, worrying about all the perspective and level of detail. I think what you did works. Her lighting might be off though?
