Description I love to hate this guy. As said he's extremely self righteous can't comprehend for second there's anything wrong with what he's doing. And also as said it doesn't take him long before he starts killing people who are not criminals (such as the FBI agents.) He see everyone around him mere tools and objects for him to manipulate and . And he can be extremely petty at times like when he killed Lind L Taylor just because he called him evil. And let not forget he's massive God Complex.

But to be fair he started as sympathetic enough. but it didn't take long for him to go off the deep end. going from well intended and extremist to Knights Templar borderlineing sociopathiced.

And there also when he erased his memory he became much more likeable person. But it's more like you became a different person. It in last however.

Great villain, but he's got a terrible fanbase who thinks he's right even though his sense of justice revolves entirely around himself and his plan to bring order to the world never work. Seriously trying to keep crime and violence down with threats of harsh punishments, people have tried it time and time again throughout history and it never works. That is without considering his plan to kill people he didn't think were contributing to society.

A big way to tell a Well Intended Extremist from a Not So Well Intended Extremist is seeing if they follow LeLouch's words about the only people who should kill are those prepared to be killed themselves. If they aren't, then chances are they are in the Not So Well Intended category.

Something that i learn, both from studing , thinking and more importantly life is like an old ffrase says power corrup and absolute power corrups absolutli, when human have power is very difficult that he doesnt try to abuse it, Ligth stars as a good guy, with good education and desiring to be good, but power the power to kill so a very powerful ability, make him seen as a defender, a good, someone above both, humans and law, when you are in a position like this, you tend to forgot, who you are, were you are going, seen the others as ants, you croos the line tinking is the best, and you croos it again and again and again, when you lees think it you cant see where you start, it starts slow but, it accelerate like a car, you must be careful when you have power

I agree with everything you said except for him starting out likeable. The line "I shall become god" kind of sealed him into the "complete douche-bag" category for me.

True, but he did start out just wanting to rid the world of criminals. But it didn't take him long to get too big for his brichis and to think he's God and above good and evil. It was episode 2 we're really starting to hate him.

you see, I don't judge a show until I'm 5 episodes in. that's the time I give something to show me what it's all about. because of that, light always came off as an asshole to me.
