Hey there dude. A question: Do you sculpt blank colored 3D models in a scene and paint over them like game artists do now....or do you sketch, paint, light and shade without doing any 3D modeling?

Hey Chase, your Illustrations are just amazing man. Would you mind enlightening us about you workflow? A basic breakdown would be awesome. Is this a mix between Marvelous Design and Photoelements / 3D and painting? Or Just painting? It works all so seemlessly I just can't tell! Anyway keep up the amazing work man! Cheers Adrian

Personally I think the baby hands are perfect becuase they are human enough to be noticed but not so human they look abnormal on the plant.

Incredible scene. They all look to have different feelings about what they're doing despite having placid expressions. I also think the way you've made the baby hands is perfect. It is subtle in a certain way, that when the viewer spends enough time looking, they'll realize it and increase their intrigue.

I actually love how subtle the baby hands are! I think it gives it a kinda creepy, otherworldly vibe - but if they were more obvious it might have just looked silly. Excellent control of light and colour and texture - as usual!
