...so what am I to do when tasked with turning Iron Man (essentially) a kick ass robot into a robot? make him the ethereal greek god of all robots.Iron Man
♦ Oldest known construct on the planet.
♦ Completely beyond the current scope of understanding, no readings or information are available on any aspect of this bot. all instruments malfunction in attempt.
♦ The Iron Man construct rarely strays below the stratosphere, seemingly in a perpetual state of disinterest or unawareness with the world around it.
♦ Apparently beyond contact or communication. There have been scattered records of the Iron Man uttering a vocal code of some unkown type. Translation Pending.
♦on more than one occasion, aggressive measures have been taken on the Iron Man construct. No known form of weapon have had any effect. Reportedly, Iron Man ignored, or did not notice the attack taking place.
Weakness & Strengths: Unknown.

im making up a story for these robots here.
so, a really long time ago, robots, like tony stark's suit, came alive, due to ultron who lived in the earth core.
they killed every organic thing on the planet. And then they took up our way of life and started living like us
they also made copies of super heroes/villains like loki and DP.

I also have a story for these robots too.
In a very distant future, most of the Avengers have long since passed on, but they have been immortalized by the inhabitants of this future world, as their deeds are still told, with information of their battles being preserved for future generations to reflect on.
But when the forces of evil reemerge to cause trouble for Earth again, people start to realize that the planet still needs the Avengers to defend it. So they build these robotic versions of the heroes, with each one being based on the data that was preserved in the archives.
In the case of Iron Man, however, some intrepid explorers uncover some remnants of one of the original Iron Man suits locked away. When discovered, it promptly reactivates and carries out its original programming of defending Earth from harm due to the programming that Tony himself had integrated into the suit's computer systems.
When it appears in battle, the Iron Man robot proves itself more than capable of dealing with any foe it's confronted with thanks to an impressive arsenal.

I can actually see that happen. An AU where Ultron succeeds in taking over the world, and creates a race of robots. Thousands of years later, it didn't actually matter if Ultron succeeded or not as the robots slowly began becoming thieves, crooks, heroes, or regular civilians, recreating the Avengers into their robotic-selves.

Well with iron man 3 and age of ultron armor....it would make sense if he designed a complete controlled desembled suit such as this while he controlled from a safe position in a fixed suit! pretty awesome !!! my fave

I understand what this is, but holy shit... the writer in me is working out this badass back story for a new avengers villain @.@ its not finished, but imagine tony having a suit graveyard... amongst the rubble and discarded parts a suit once controlled by ultron, and a suit once afflicted by techno-vore manage to come together and the infected new sentient remains begin pulling together a new form form the wreckage... and lo the world would know the pain... of Iron-Hunger (names also a work in progress, also a nod to monger) sorry your work inspires ^^
