My half of a trade with
Minolta is all grown up and hasn't seen momma Zesty in a good long while.

"The city is beautiful covered in snow," Said Minolta, trotting alongside her mother, "I'm glad we got to see the lights."

"Certainty," said her mother gruffly, "if you don't mind freezing your tail off."

Minolta chuckled. To anyone else, this disdain would have been a sign that Alsesta Grandeur was not enjoying herself, but the younger mare knew better.

"Alright then, how about we go somewhere to warm up? We could get a bite to eat while we're at it." Said Minolta brightly.

Alsesta didn't say anything for awhile and Minolta waited patiently as they crunched through the snow.

"Hmmm I suppose so," said her mother at last, "so long as it's not the old mill. If I wanted to eat from a trough I would have paid the Apple's a visit."

Minolta rolled her eyes playfully, "They're not that bad. (This earned her a scoff.) Their buffet has a good selection and the cauliflower steak is always cooked just right."

"Hmph...I thought I taught you better." Said Alsesta, giving her a sideways glance, then in a resigned voice, "oh...very well. I can just wait till I get home to throw it up."

Minolta laughed, "that's the spirit!"
