Description Quite some time ago, I posted a journal entry talking about my sudden urge to play with paints again. I paint for myself, nothing and no one else, and most of the stuff I paint is never seen by anyone else.

This is one of the very few exceptions.

I love the fall. I love all the seasons, actually, with each of them having something I love them for. Summer is usually my favorite but I love the way the leaves change color in the autumn. It's currently that time of year here in Australia, so it made me think of this painting that was hiding in a corner.

It's entirely painted with acrylics and was just a spur of the moment kind of thing because the season put me in the mood. I do like the way it turned out, though.

My one disappointment is that the colors really don't show to their true advantage here. In person, they are a lot more vibrant and bright and the bits of metallic acrylic I used on the leaf edges come up when they light hits from different directions. Still, I decided to bite the bullet and share it.

I do love autumn colours, but...

I`m so glad the spring has come

I love when the spring finally arrives. However, at the moment we're on the opposite here so it's autumn, going into winter.

Oh...

Here in Warsaw we`re in the middle of spring.

Spring and autumn have the most beautiful colours.

The worst time is between autumn and winter and between winter and spring, when there`s practically no colour. :/
