For years, I have been growing my hair out. The goal? My knees. It's been that length for a couple years now and I recently came to realize that maybe I needed a hair cut. The ends needed a clean up and I wasn't wearing my hair out as often as I would like since it was SO very long.So, on the recent trip home, I got some great pictures of my stupidly, uber long hair.
And then I went to a hair dresser and had a foot of it cut off.
My nice, neat hair now reaches halfway down my butt and is much more manageable. I'm happy with it.

I LOVE your hair but it is yet cut now ... what did you do with your locks of hair when you did cut it ? Did you sell it ? keep it for you in a braid as memory ? With such hair, I hope you did not let the hairdressers throw all that ...

Oh, that's really really sad to hear. Your golden mane seem to be so spectacular, I thought it's not from this world. I understand, that it's hard to maintain, but it's a real firework of endless silk. Hope you don't cut it shorter

My hair is reaching to the bottom of my back and I really want to make it longer, but It's starting to annoy me and I wanting to cut it off already

Thank you very much! It took several years of debating it to finally cut it back but as much as I loved it, I was over it too. You have to love and be comfortable with your hair.
That being said, everyone still thinks mine is pretty long (it's past waist length) and I laugh and tell them it's short! XD

random question but how many bottles of shampoo do you through in a year and how long does it take to dry.

I go through more conditioner than shampoo...about 3x more. And at it's longest and letting it dry naturally, the longest record for it to be completely bone dry was about 48 and a bit hours.
