Water kicks ass! It is reqired to support life but can also bring great distruction, It is used to gently clean our bodys or it can bring down entire mountains! And not to mention it tastes great!

no... a leica digilux 2... it is a professional camera developed by leica optical systems germany...
a 150 year old company... they rock... I love their products... but they are waaaay to expensive for me (at the moment)...

i like it. i like it a lot, actually. it's a simple shot, with simple subject matter at a simple angle...but the fact that it was captured in this way makes it stunning. kudos, mate.

That is a very cool and unique shot! Rare too. You've certainly captured a moment in time in great detail. Almost makes one think about what other simple things we miss and take for granted. A simple water droplet yet beautifully done.

This shot made me think about the simple things..
I thought if a simple droplet can look like this, then how beautifull has a rainstorm got to be! Such an exciting imagination!

What an original photo...... I wouldn't have recognized it as falling water, it almost looks like something rendered in lightwave or sth. That's the suberb thing with a camera: sometimes one can catch a moment, an image, a movement that our eyes and brains simply can't catch.

It took me about 60 shots to adjust the camera settings and catch the drop in the right moment...
just capturing a falling drop isn't that hard, but because I wanted the cup behind the drop to shine through it, it took me a lot of time and nerves... but it seems that it was worth it...
