Yet another flashback for my "Of Ghosts and Twins" series. Before she died, Jenny Wren had believed that she and her twin brother Joey couldn't get their parents attention unless they were tattling on each other, as the couple were too lost in each others eyes to acknowledge the twins otherwise... yet before being trusted to look after themselves in Perfektborg out of the belief the two of them would be safer without a babysitter there then anywhere else (leading to the incident that turned Jenny into a ghost), there were a few mishaps that prove the two youngsters were anything but neglected when daddy's back from duty at the air force. One of which involves revealing their hidden talent --making a human ladder while walking-- in an attempt to return the hat of a local farmer's scarecrow, Gourdy McSquashhead. Afraid that the twins would fall when they couldn't quite reach, Mr. and Mrs. Wren along with the farmer rushed over to help the two of them put the hat back on the scarecrow the right way.
