This one was actually one of my easier ones, once I found a drawing tutorial on how to draw Spider-Man, I actually finished this one yesterday... it was figuring out how to add him into my drawing before seeing that video that was the hard part. I could've had Joey dress like that hero, but the Drawtober theme "costume" doesn't come until later this month, and I want each drawing in this challenge to have the theme on schedule. Anyhow, while this flashback, just a year before Joey's graduation, takes place during the summer, it has a very October motif that everyone is familiar with: that one friend who doesn't want to watch scary movies, even when surrounded by a bunch of buddies to support him.

JOEY: Oh! Look! "Spider-Man" is re-released with an audio description. Like a narrator for the blind! Zephur, wouldn't it be far more fair to Benji if we watched this movie about our web-slinging hero instead?

JENNY: (while invisible) You can't fool me, bro, even if you fool your friends. You just don't want to watch the latest horror film "Child's Play"... I'd watch it, of course, but if it's too much even for a ghost like me, I'll know where to find you... but then again characters that hang upside down are pretty interesting, and I should know.

ZEPHUR: Eh, whatever. Movie night is movie night.

BENJI: It's very nice of you to think of my needs, Joey, but I understand. It is alright to be scared; we can all watch... and listen to... a horror movie another time.

JOEY: Wha-?! I'm not scared! Who said anything about being scared? I just like superhero films better, and I want it to be one that you can enjoy, Benji.

BENJI/ZEPHUR: Sure you're not.

ZEPHUR: Let's just get our tickets and go, okay?
