About this time last year, I held a small Q&A session on Tumblr known among other authors and artists as World Building Wednesday. All questions regarding my characters and the world that they live in were welcome, and I had to respond to them accordingly. Many of them I responded to with a drawing to accompany them! So, for my final deviation of 2013, I've compiled each of the drawn answers into a single image, so they can all be enjoyed at once! These were a lot of fun to work on, although I did notice that D and Lilliana were the two favorites it seems. But Kanasta and Zuri also got some attention, and I even got to revive a character people probably don't even realize exists, Orion Rigel, Rhapsody's drummer and sole male member! This activity is something I'll definitely have to do again some time... After I've taken care of other necessary obligations! But you're so GOOD at it. Those characters have a nice animated quality to them and their expressions bring the actions out that much more. Like the center one and the bottom right corner drawing. So adorable! I hope you think on it some more, just because the potential is off the charts.

It was adorable... Though I can't help but feel sorry for the poor lass. She has to keep her feet safe and the only person she can trust to protect them wants her feet worse than most!

Oh this is just lovely to see...so many well executed sketches. Obviously I'm particularly fond of the Lilliana/D imagery...but the one of Orion/Zuri is rather touching as well...

Ah I remember seeing these on your tumblr, but it's nice that you took the time to compile them for any who may have missed them.
I have to say that while it's a treat to see so much of D's feet, her expression of worry/anxiety at the top is the best of the bunch for me.

I do also recall seeing a few exquisite pictures of poor D in Kurenai's clutches, feet on display and looking similarly if not more freaked out than she does above.

And we say goodbye to 2013 by reflecting on some nice things. I totally understand D and Lilli being the fan favorites in all this, they're just so cute together. Here's hoping the future will allow us to see more into how they interact.
In the mean time I'll eagerly await these other necessary obligations.Β

I guess once people got onto the fact that they're actually a canon pairing, they warmed up to the idea of seeing them more often! D has her fans, but I think her popularity became a bit more apparent once it became clear that she's actually in a relationship with the little albino darling she also calls her best friend.
