An anonymous user on Tumblr sent me a message asking me if I'd ever be down for drawing some "Lapidot tickle fluff" ("Lapidot" being the fan name for shipping characters Peridot and Lapis Lazuli), citing that I've "drawn tickling art before!" And I just wanted to respond with WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM before I started to entertain the thought and realized "oh no it's cute"So while I'm still lost in the fandom that is Steven Universe, it only felt right to deliver on their request, mostly because it just sounded like fun, but I imagine a lot of you guys were probably wondering when I'd draw some tickling again. It's about time, right? I can promise that my original characters are still alive and well, but man, when you're having this much fun with a TV show you love so much, you just can't help but draw something in the moment. And I've been drawing more lately than ever before. You should check out my art blog and see what I've been up to! Yes, it's mostly all Steven Universe these days, but who's surprised?? There will be more original content there... someday soon!

Later episodes confirmed that Peridot was actually wearing "limb enhancers" that made her arms and legs appear longer. We know now that she's actually quite short, but this art was produced well before that reveal was ever made public.
Still, while Peridot only appears to be wearing something like a onesie, or tights with little booties on them, we know she's got toes in there, since she gave 'em a wiggle immediately upon realizing her limb enhancers were missing. My guess is her feet are probably perfectly normal, just tiny and green like her hands!

These kind of gem wars seems very funny and joyfull. I mean they look so happy about this, the reaction of peridot and lapis react to tickle and be tickled seems very lovely.Β

Ay, I'll have my fun! Besides, I actually assumed Peridot's feet were detached from her legs to begin with (otherwise Lapis's arm would be going through her ankle). Some fun could be had if there is indeed a foot in that boot~

Saw the first two pictures on your Tumblr, but the third is a nice surprise.
I do like how you handled Peridot's feet and even find they have an odd sort of appeal, perhaps because they match up with her hands in appearance. Though it probably doesn't hurt matters that Peridot seems to me like one of the Steven Universe characters that would be interesting to tickle. And as was mentioned below, you could possibly do some fun stuff with her feet and/or toes if they're detachable and she was able to still feel through them. The facial expressions for both characters throughout all three pictures are great, they really sync up with dialogue, actions, and reactions. Also interesting to me is how you made note of how dexterous Peridot's fingers seemingly could be and Lapis' water chains.
When I originally saw the first picture it actually didn't occur to me Lapis is barefoot all the time and that you deigned to go after her upper body instead. Glad you decided to "punish" her for being such a tease since I find the crossed ankle pose you chose for her and the color contrast between her soles and the tops of her feet quite enticing.
Again as far as I'm concerned you should keep on doing what makes you happy, if that includes doing some art of a fetishy nature featuring either character of SU or your creations than all the better for us.

As I'm sure I stated with another user, the latter image was completed about a week later, on the very night I uploaded this in fact! It seemed a bit unfair to leave Lapis's feet unattended, and that was felt on all sides, both from the viewers and myself as the artist! I'm happy to have corrected that at last.
I challenged myself with Peridot's feet, but it was a fun challenge and I really enjoy the end result! You could definitely have a lot of fun with that! I can't help but imagine that dragging a feather between the toes and the foot itself would still tickle like hell, even without any joint to physically join them together. As for the water chains, that was aaaaall my girlfriend's idea! The minute she mentioned it, I blurted out, "Oh wow. That's hot." Next thing I knew it was implemented in the final drawing
Lapis's feet were always immediately appealing to me entirely because of their coloration. I'm a big fan of color contrasts in any kind of skintone, as I'm sure you can likely tell (Kanasta, Zuri, Kurenai...). So seeing that her soles were in fact lighter in color than her overall skintone, I was eager to do something about it. Which is why it still surprises me that I didn't draw this sooner! I'm glad I did it at all! And of course, that pose is always a treat to see~
