We have a new Sonic character. Her name is Tangle. I don't know if she's replacing Sally Acorn or not for the IDW comics, but if she is I hope she's a likable character. I drew two versions of Tangle. One with a tank top, and the other without it. Now I know what you're going to ask "why didn't you draw her with pants like her official design?" I think the better question is, why are male Sonic characters allowed to be nude, while female Sonic characters are forced to cover themselves? What is this, The Middle East? Just wanted to go back to the days when it wasn't such a big deal. Remember Sally's original design? Besides, there is nothing NSFW showing, so try not to get triggered. Which version do you guys like better?Anyways, best of luck Tangle, let us hope you don't suck. And if she is replacing Sally as Sonic's girlfriend…. well at least she'll be a better love interest than Amy.

I haven't read the IDW comics, but she definitely looks better this way. Sally honestly was one of the best designed Sonic characters back in the day because she followed the same rules as Sonic. As for Tangle here...I like both versions. If pressed to choose, I'd say the one on the left because of that way she has more yellow. It adds a bit more color to her design.

I miss her too. And what's more, Tangle is pegged to make her first appearance in the forth issue. I say just stick to your own story rather than the official revision. That's what I do. I peg together varying pieces of Sonic lore, and see what sticks.
