I knew I said I'd be holding back until the RoosterTeeth release, but I completely forgot about it, saw the episode recently uploaded on YT
And said "just finish it already"

I really like the background for this drawing, the destroyed structures have a real sense of style which I think really helps give this piece a sense of personality. The foreground does have a sense style as well, giving the piece some charm and a sense of personality, yet not to the extent of the background, foreground I feel has an unfortunate case of fairly good attention to detail yet not enough of unique art-style to give itself quote the personality I wish it had. I will give you kudos on the chin, it's a small detail that not many people notice. Perhaps you could've taken some creative liberties and add some of your own arrow designs on the Nuckelavee's back.

The Grimm is based on Nuckelavee a creature from Norse mythology commonly associated with death. But given how it first showed to attack after Nora showed up, might suggest something dark about Nora. Β Β Β

Seriously, as this thing died, it took me a while until I realized what just happened: Both Nora and Ren had just slain a Grimm capable of leveling an entire city after their aura had been depleted...

Well, to be fair, it was a village, not a city, and Nucky, didn't do it by itself, there were other Grimm in the village, and as far as we know, they didn't have any Huntsmen or Huntresses, only hunters with relatively primitive weapons, while 3/4 of RNJR were equipped with guns and Aura, so yeah...
Also, considering how the pilot said that nobody comes there often, I think it's safe to assume that Nucky didn't have to face any real threats, kinda similar to the Deathstalker JNPR faced in Volume 1, so while it did grow big and strong, it didn't grow all that smarter.

While that Grimm was cool, my only complaint is that it wasn't brutal enough. If it has the capability wreck villages, we should have seen a bit more than just wild and slow arm flailing.

But you have to remember that this thing usually attacks together with other Grimm, which can also be held responsible for all the collateral damage. I mean, this Grimm is obviously one of those that only fight huntsmen and huntresses, while the other Grimm, such as Urasai or Nevermore, take care of the buildings.

Then again, the villages it wrecked probably had weaker defenses and never stood a chance because they've never fought something big like the Nuckelavee Grimm, not to mention that it was capable of flailing its noodle arms around in a large radius and said noodle arms have ridiculous range
But yeah, I agree that it should've put up a really good fight for a finale
