History:
Unlike other Explosives this one was specificly introduced to not cause any harm to other Theats in the area. but to the history.....
Before this explosive was invented there was only crossbows and longbows that fired explosive tipped arrows, this system was effective but there was very little explosive damage and a explosive radius, This came to a partial end in July 12 ,1839 APD (After Planetary Discovery) when a Xeno named Arthur Steelhand had invented this explosive to replace the long process that was used by the long bows and crossbows. After the explosive was made Steelhand disappeared on a exploration in a swampland on the planet to make a methane explosive grenade, this is a popular explosive used because of its effectiveness still to this day as well as its numbers in surplus and cheaply made use of resources.
But Now to this Version, It was Invented to give cover to advancing forces in trench combat or being pinned by enemy fire. Other Variants include Maze as well as tear gas, But these versions are still in use today as well as the Explosive Grenades. Today this type of Grenade is used by Police forces to end a conflict and situation without bloodshed, but limited use in military for the new place of the MZ-3 Grenade.
