Your drawing reminds me of the movie Blair Witch Project. The color combination makes me think the day is soon to be over, and something really bad is coming. I also love the effect of the creature morphing with the tree. It makes you feel the whole nature is enchanted and against you, gives a "trapped" feeling. Wonderful job overall!
