To my ear coutoure, which I spelled wrong, sounds like culture, which is what the borg tag line is actually suppose to be. "Your culture will adapt to service us." In Suited for Success, Fluttershy asks for French haute coutoure. So I tried to make a (very) small joke using that. Sorry bout that. Sounded funnier to me at the time. Maybe I shouldn't be posting when I'm so tired.

I have only done it once. I played a Star Wars RPG. And it was fantastic. DM wasn't the best but we had some crazy fun.

I actually like to combine both.

Having a futuristic world use an advanced 19th century machine to harness whatever energy they can use from it, or having the future engineers go to the past and recreate their hi-tech machinery in a Victorian era fashion.

Have the Submachine series or the Covert Front series as examples.
