Da Ji is copyright to Koei.Orochi Warriors looks like its going to be an exciting game, and I was quite taken by Da Ji's design when I first saw the concept art. Of course, when I drew this - a few months back now - I decided only do a portrait, seeing as I was dreading doing a full body with how complicated some of her outfit designs appear to be (Or that might just be me!). I kept putting off colouring - well, I did little bits over a period of time, but only finished it today.
I don't know much about the history/mythology of Da Ji, but she wasn't a three kingdoms based person.

a little info for you my friend.. da ji was a concubine in the shang dynasty... she also RUINED the shang dynasty... interesting eh? a concubine who changed the whole history of a nation... basically, she was king zhou's favorite and was always getting her way... the king gave her ANYTHING she wanted... thus obstructing the political affairs of the country... she was also pretty cruel... she loved torture and seeing people in pain or cut up... she also loved dancing and sex... this made the entire country rebel and overthrow the dynasty... NOW YOU KNOW!^_^

yes indeed! and also, you hear her being called fox-woman alot... that's because according to legend, NOT history, she is the reincarnation of a fox in a woman's body... and as we all know, foxes are very clever, sly, and considered evil/treacherous... so there you go... nice artwork btw... Da Ji is so strong in the game... the only problem is her control... some people can't handle it... hehehe... ever beat orochi on chaos with her yet?

hehe alright then... but yeah, Da Ji is a bit loose in the game... none of her moves are very focused or easy to control but she can take out anything due to the fact taht all her moves don't leave openings around her... have you tried using her and just doing her first charge attack over and over till it kills an officer? works pretty well since they don't fall down...

I haven't managed to unlock her yet. I have been neglecting playing the game for a while. I should really get back into it again.

ohh... ok then... yeah, you know how to unlock her right? pretty easy... but I accidentally skipped the first shu gaiden stage and it took me a while to figure out it was the only stage I didn't play... all you have to do is beat every stage in the game to get her... the hard part is getting the last gaiden stages...

sw is the hardest... 1000 kills on wu zhang... it's hard because there aren't that many soldiers in the stage... oh and one more thing on da ji... while slaying her in the game, she says 'I thought I was... immortal...' she says that because according to legend she was promised immortality if she could fulfill certain tasks asked by the goddess Nu Wa... well... Da Ji failed... miserably... that is apparent...

Da Ji to me makes me think of a mix of Da (Qiao) and (Zhen) Ji. Which usually results in a bad thing XD;; heh, I like the colouring and her devious smile~
