If you're the Ken1171 that did Anime Doll for poser, (I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it is, would be too big of a coincedence) then maybe you'll be surprised to know that the hair on all of these usually starts off as your base mesh exported as .obj to zbrush, then tweaked and "sculpted" upon using zbrushes tools.

I also have tools I've made like single strands and sections of hair and whatnot and I used the way you shaped your meshes as a starting point for a guideline on how to realize this sort of stuff. You did an excellent job on "translating" this style of art into a 3d format.

Didn't know you had a DA account, now that I do, I can post a link to your page on any future images where I use the hair props you did, just as a courtesy, more people should check out your stuff.

Hehe I am the Ken1171 who became the greatest supporter of AnimeDoll in the world, but not her creator. She was created by MayaX, and he has mentioned me as AD's greatest supporter at his website in Japan and I was very proud of it. For years to come I was the most known creator of new products for AD.

Instead, I am the creator of the A3AD "Madoka" hybrid figure for Poser, which for many years has been considered as the most versatile and powerful Anime figure for Poser, used by more than 4,000 people around the world. The majority of my gallery deviations were created with Madoka, while many may think it's AnimeDoll. Madoka combines in a single figure the most versatile and popular body from Aiko3 with the powerful head from AD, which is still the only one for Poser that is true to the Anime style. MayaX said it took him a whole year just to create that head and all of the expression and customization morphs.

AnimeDoll only got "retired" from the market when DAZ3D released their poorly made Aiko3 for free in 2005. Nobody can compete with freebies, even when they are lower quality because it became clear to me that people didn't really care. Not only Aiko3 is incapable of Anime-like expressions or any kind of expressions, but her teeth is so terrible that no one dares to open her mouth in their renders. Even so, AD was defeated because she is not free... -_-

Funny that I recognized MayaX's AD's hair in one of your ZB models when I saw the back view, but thought it was a coincidence because I didn't see any references to Poser in your gallery.
