well what I have so far is that there’s a (tribe?? flock?? idk) of bats in a rainforest, and their leader is Levine. the bats have lived in this forest for many years. one night, as the moon is setting, a younger bat named Flicker watches the sun rise with Levine before everyone falls asleep. he seems to have some sort of silent panic when he sees the sun, but he acts as if it did not happen, so Levine brushes it off as just being surprised by the sun. awhile later, humans come and mark up the trees, and the bats are confused when the see the marks that night. the next day, one of their trees is chopped down. a few bats died from it, and it’s enough to set off Flicker. he immediately tells Levine through tears that that night he saw the sun, he saw trees in masses being cut down in their forest, and he tells her that they need to leave quickly before they all die. Levine is concerned, but brushes it off as him just being scared because Flicker’s mother was one of the bats to die that day, as she does not want to leave. but Flicker insists, and tells her that there is a new home waiting for them, they just have to leave. she ignores his warning as other trees are chopped until her tree is the one to be chopped down, and she gives in. she takes the other bats out of the forest in search of a new home. that’s all of the main plot points I have so far but I’m working on more?? like I’ve already made more characters met throughout the story and such, just not everything is set in stone yet fyukghukghuk

That's kinda similar to my in developed bat story. It's about a silver haired bat pup named Ludovic who survived a 9.3 earthquake in Alaska. His parents died as a result and developed depression and anxiety. He later went to a airport in Alaska that is allowing people to evacuate Alaska to prevent experiencing more aftershocks, the plane he flew in took him to Congo where it is located in Africa, he lived in the rainforest near the Congo River with a colony of megabats AKA flying foxes. This bat story is also a reboot and better version to my other one.

this one will be better than my other that's now gone because it literally was a Tarzan rip off with the main character being named after a Nintendo video game villain. But when this reboot idea came up, I guess I could reboot it and make it new. I would make arts of my characters in my profile but sadly I can't draw. The only thing I just do is write the whole things into complete stories. I hope you read my deviations Cheedo
