My buddy, Skottie Young, fellow member of Ledheavy hit me up to ask me how I would handle Nova, and this is what I came up with. It's rushed job. Took me a little over an hour to design him.Hope ya'll digs!

i actually like the mask where the star is just a design. That's cool.
I can't figure out what about the costume urks me, though. Maybe the body needs more yellow somewhere... hmm...

GOOD TAKE! I like the top head with the emblem more prominent. If you don't mind, I am starting back up with my drawing again from my therapy so I can fight off my injury and still draw. I will be posting some stuff soon and would like you and anyone else you know to critique.

My pref is the actual star on the mask it just looks right...I think his outfit is a bit too loose though...like a guy filling in for Nova or something...the style is killer and the layout is classic cartoon character design 101.

I definately dig your take, brah. I always liked Nova, but I couldn't stand the bucket head. The sheathe head looks awesome...and I dig the mask type as opposed to the star type. I know the star is more traditional for Nova, but with the fabric mask I dunno if the star would hold up. Still looks faboo.

excellent. I'd have to say that I like the bottom design for the hood a bit better though. The top one would be too hard for him to see, it seems like it would mess with his pov. He can't be having a disadvantage like that as a superhero.

very 70's lookin... all those retro toons ya did influenced ya a bunch it would seem.... I definetly dig the big adorment, more than the one painted on the hood... feels more nova.
