Another cat portrait the photo being low quality RIP

I've been going back through my old sketchbooks and finishing some of the sketches (or completely erasing a very light sketch and using the blank page like this one) I had started from years and years ago. It's fun to look through sketchbooks from 2014 and find some 2018 drawings/finished things sprinkled through it. Shows where I started and how far I've come I think it's always important for artists to keep their old sketchbooks even if they're full of things you might dislike. Sometimes they bring back fun memories or remind you to keep moving forward!

This is Silverthorn, a she-cat deputy to my other character Redstar in an alternate SkyClan universe. I'm in my 20s and still a Warrior weeb #proud

She's a sharp tongued and clever she-cat loyal to her Clan. Before she became deputy she was quiet and agreeable always looking to keep tensions low amongst her clanmates. When she was unexpectedly named deputy at the disappearance of the previous one something inside of her changed and prompt ed her to step up to manage her conflicted Clan. Oftentimes she came to contest with Redstar who was already a fierce leader from being thrown into her role as well. Together the two have done well to keep SkyClan strong and maintain its status among the other Clans - but something about t he pasts of their ancestors from many moons ago threatens to tear the two apart as had happened with their predecessors..
