Description Another scene from our D&D game.

The party went to Arvandor, one of the divine realms, to have an audience with Corellon, the god of art and beauty. The visit went well and he even decided to invite our characters to a party.

This picture depicts Corellon dancing with Sehanine, his lover and the goddess of love, with a crowd of fey creatures watching in awe.

This if one of the most ambitious pictures I have made and I'm pretty happy with it, though the background might need some colour adjustments, I think it might be a bit too bright or something, any suggestions ?

The version with only the crowd and no dancers can be found here :

Very nice!  I have three lineups of DnD characters in my gallery if you'd like to come see them.

all eyes are on them, so have the focus come to the couple with a vignette while still keeping the onlookers in the background visible.

Adding the gods dancing really 'completes' this piece. This is excellent.

This looks really cool. I don't think it is too bright since the fey wild is meant to be more bright and colour then the real world any way. So this works well. You have put so much effort into this and i think it really pays off actually. I bet it must have been a shame to hide some of the other figures you have drawn though.

The work on Sehanine's dress is really pretty, i like it a lot actually especailly the way you have done the colours and made it see-through. I also think you have made her face look very pretty.

Thanks, glad you like it. I guess it's a shame hiding two thirds of the background, but on the other side I don't regret drawing it, since it makes a decent image by itself. This was a big job, and I was quite surprised to see that it is more then a month since I last published works on DA (not counting the background picture of this image)

I'm quite happy with the dress too, making translucent clothing is really time consuming, I'm not too happy with the face though, it looks much like how I draw every face seen from the side.

I know it makes a good imagine on it's own too, which is why i would have done the same as you and i would have made it two pictures on here as well. Especially if i would have gone to all that work!

Wow a month is quite a while, mind you i tend to be kind of prolific. But i can see this picture taking ages to be fair. I can see why you would be happy with the dress, i would be too it is really beautiful.

I see about the face, it can be hard to make faces look different actually. It is something i am still finding hard. But it looks pretty, which is a good thing.
