Yeah, he is kind of a decent character. Better and more fleshed-out than some of the side-villians. Watching his spiral into madness once he experienced true fear was pretty awesome...going straight from a composed, self-riteous character to filled with rage and hatred both from Hisagi and his own inability to surpress his terror.
But I still think he needs to tone it down on the purple eyeliner. =\
