A species of fungus-people native to the Mushroom Kingdom. Most of their kind betrayed their fellow Mushroom Retainers to join King Bowser's Koopa Troop. Goombas that are citizens of Mushroom Kingdom are typically recognized by their rounded tusks.
Standard - Simple people whose strength lies in their numbers.
Nobility - Goombas that are born of the nobility are recognized by their greater variance in color and larger size.
Paratroop - Goombas that have been given wings through Magikoopa magic.
Affiliation: Most with King Bowser & the Koopa Troop, However some populations exist that are neutral or aligned with Mario & the Mushroom Kingdom.
