Thanks a lot - I try to use a lot of vivid colors in my work - sometimes I have a hard time getting them with my camera, sometimes even the professional photographers as well!

About how long does it take you to do one of these portraits?

The skin tones are incredible! I love that slightly impish look on her face, you've managed to capture that mischievous twinkle perfectly. The colors are brilliant, what sort of colored pencils do you use?

Thanks again! I use Prismacolors. I haven't tried anything else yet...anyway, that is exactly what I was going for - provocative, mysterious, sensual, and what you said!

When I drew Vicky, I used (and I have to remember the pencil names correctly, since I'm not at home) Lt Peach for the base, and then Lt Umber on top of that, then I used Lt peach again to burnish, and recently I went back and burnished some more with Rosy Beige (the photo hasn't been updated, but her skin looks smoother now). For the darker areas of her skin, I added dark brown and dark umber to the lt umber, and burnished with lt umber. On my more recent portraits, the process involves a few more colors, believe it or not...
And thanks again

I tried using a colorless blender once, and even though it worked pretty well, I thought it would add and enhance the drawing more by using colors to blend with, and its worked very well!
