Description What shall I say. He is what we in germany would call a "Herbst-typ" (autumn-type).
Means: fall colours fit him.

No one would guess his nastier side just by looking at those big puppy eyes XD

And autumn colors definitely fit him *though I'm sure he'd prefer summer ones*

actually not. It only SOUNDS american because it is called HAWAIAN shirt in the english language.

I mean more the image America transmits by using those every time he goes on a vacation. Might be a biased opinion but to me an hawaiian shirt for summer holidays means american tourist (aka inability to blend in or lack of good taste)

<__< >___> you ever met a bunch of male german tourists? They ARE the inability to blend in combined with bad taste, white socks, hawaiian shirt and flipflops!

Can't say I have. Though I did meet a whole group of Scottish, in full attire

I guess we get so many of those here in Portugal we can no longer tell them apart

He has a lot of those "Aww, Ivan is so sweet and kind and innocent" and then it just gets ruined because he starts to laugh and be creepy again.

Yes, sadly. And it sadly is true to a point. I can sit there and say whats all wonderful about this country, yet there are a lot of things that for sure creep people out or at least irritate them because they are so different from western believings and ideas.
(Like: they are actually laughing when they hit bottom. I for some reason I don'T know understand it. But many say "You just hit bottom! You have lost everything! What are you laughing about??")
The USSR and cold war thing did NOT help. And the fact russia is STILL acting like "Yo are western me not want real contact" either! In fact it makes me angry and sad! This land could bloom. But instead it goes doom. (here I am sitting and sounding like good old Kanzler Helmut Kohl o_o;; )

I think Russia's really interesting. I don't know much about it as a country, though. The Cold War just kind of seemed like a stupid idea to me.
