Description
The Parent Map was not only a very fun episode, but it also gave us some insights into the childhood of Starlight and Sunburst. The fact that they have similarly overbearing parents solidifies their Uncommon bond. It's interesting that neither Sunburst's father nor Starlight's mother were mentioned in the entire episode. This leads me to believe that both couples are either separated or even suffered the death of their spouse. This loss does give some insight into their overbearing natures. Perhaps both feel like they've failed as a spouse and want to make it up to their children.
