so yeah, here's a little backstory to what's going on here.

December was sick with a deadly virus and her trainer didnt know how to treat her. one day the trainer was sure the umbreon had died and burried her in lavender town and left her behind. turns out the virus was just lowering her heart rate and started to gloss over her eyes. she managed to crawl out of her grave after a day of being underground. thanks to the lowered heart rate, she was able to conserve the oxygen needed to survive that long underground. After climbing out, she wandered aimlessly til the virus started taking over, looking for her trainer in hopes of reuniting with her. It was too late though.

the virus started an intense swelling of the brain and an almost complete shut down of her ability to think and judge. it also highly increased her craving for raw meat. a few pokemon and trainers attacked and killed, she was driven out of kanto.

eventually her organs started to rot and her stomach acid turned foul. the vapors from those acids seep out her throat and nose and eventually melted off the skin and tissue from her snout
