LOL OH LORD I DID FANART OF SOMETHING EXTREMELY GEEKY AND CUTE-ISH.Oh well it's not for me anyway.
It's a very very VERY late birthday present for . In fact it's SO late it may as well be a birthday present for her upcoming birthday.
SORRY LITTLE FRIEND I LOVE YOU. D: Lol I don't even know if she likes Bleach that much but hey! It has a pretty tree in the background! Although there really isn't a light source to speak of. But that's okay.
Edit: Some people thought that previous comments meant I didn't like Bleach. I do! I just don't follow it hardcore. I tend to wait for a bunch of episodes to build up and then I spend a weekend or two binging on it. It's very fun for me.

Look at lots and lots of tutorials, go to livestreams if your favorite DA artists have them, and if not then study how those artists color and try to mimic it and then you'll start to figure it out.

Simple is not always that bad, sometimes a drawing can get to complicated that the overall message is lost.( not that I ever draw to provide some kind of message) Detailed drawings can look pretty awesome and breath taking at times, but I find them really hard to execute. But this drawing is pretty detailed, it has a bg and interaction between 2 characters, which creates a scene.
