Commander Keen was one of my first PC games, and pretty much what got me interested in computers as a kid. I think I was his age when I first played this!Lol I signed my name in the standard galactic alphabet.

Commander Keen was my childhood on the computer in kindergarten!! Love the artstyle too <3<3<3 Normally he is pale, as you know, and most fan arts I have seen of him with skin color just doesn't work.... but somehow you make it work

Thank you for the nostalgia. It's glorious. Keen was one of my first PC games too, back when computers ran DOS and PC games were small enough to pack onto floppies. Good times, good memories.

Ohh man, Commander Keen... Replaying it as a semi-cognitive adolescent - the love is still there. But there is sadness for not being able to play it with the same intensity and wonderment as a child. Whenever I replay games from my childhood, I am astounded at how much difficulty I had beating them.

Hmmm I vaguely remeber an attempt to reboot Commander Keen on the gameboy color in either the late 90's and early 2000's but I never played the original. Still I do love this picture though.

Keen was one of my earliest PC game memories as well.
But whenever I asked my dad if he could pull it up for me to play, he always thought I was talking about "King's Quest" because of the similarity of "Keen" and "King" in little kid dialect.
