Just some character I’ve been sketching up lately. I’m very proud of this design and my friends really like him too. I was just drawing random shapes for ideas when I eventually did his eye shape, a sort of shield looking thing with a tear coming out.

But than I got the idea of designing a character who embodies a child waking up in the middle of the night, either to get something to eat, use the restroom, or play videogames past their bed time.

The idea being centred around a child makes the character relatable, and almost nostalgic in a weird way. At least that’s what people have told me.

This idea is why he is in oversized clothing, and has a fake tail. As I just associate those with children. As for the bells, well. Im sure if you can relate to the concept of this character you can surely know the fear of making any noise. Like when you’re a kid you have this fearful mindset that the quietest peep would send the alarms! So I gave this character the misfortune of having literal bells for hands. As well as one on his head.

The character is always crying. Which is just to make them look more sympathetic.

Overall this is one of my more cutesy designs. And I am very fond of this one, I can tell I am going to sketch this character a lot. Even if I won’t post most of it. (Similar situation to that one imp post I made. Yeah I have drawn the imps too many times to count and I made only one post of them. Weird I know)
