I really like this band called the horrorpops and when i saw them in concert i fell in love with the dresses the dancers wore so my mom and I made the dress. She did most of the actual sewing because she didn't want me to accidentally screw up on the new machine with only a week before the homecoming dance i was wearing it to. I did all the painting though.. 6 hours altogether of painting the dress.Related content

oOo that is really cool. I saw some pic of the original dresses as well (I found the Horrorpops on my sister's ipod last year and I must say, they are awsome!) I really want one too now, ha ha. Wicked job on the painting, by the way, it looks adorably macabre.

I have never seen the horrorpops but I can see why you liked the costume, its cool. I bet it would look so good under UV, the white would glow and there would just be a black skeleton shape. Have you thought about painting the tights?
