He was a slave labor at young age until Zhang Fei beat up his boss, and Liu Bei set the slaves free and make fair trade in work. Mi-kai follow Liu Bei and ask him to command him. He become his trusted guard and a friend.
He is based on Mikazuki from Gundam IBO because of his SD Gundam counterpart. His ranger form is based on Ma Chao's DLC costume in Dynasty Warriors game series.
