This is the aftermath of Bowser's castle falling on them. Ludwig broke his arm. Lemmy borke his neck. Roy broke his foot. Iggy got a brick in his eye. Wendy broke a nail and is fussing about that. Morton broke an arm as well Larry broke a foot too! Bowser suffered some head injuries. Bowser Jr too. All the kids suffered brain damage due to Mario jumping on their heads. |DIt's just video games in a different point of view, basically.

lands, and the girl he's rescuing is possibly working with
Bowser to torture his brother and him!

.....but that does not mean that he can kill ANYTHING in his way....does mario enjoy killing goomba's and koopa's then, because all he has to do is go to bowser's castle and save peach, not kill goomba's and etc on the way. that might prove something there

i think he does enjoy it....because in the game M&L: Bowser's inside story, when mario and luigi killed an enemy, they would spin around and smile....o.0 its kinda creepy

i beat the game, and know about the ending, it kinda does show they care, but still mario could just leave the enemy's alone, and they would leave him alone

Mario's just doing the job, of defending the Mushroom Kingdom
or where ever he is. Bowser just started the fight, to tell
you the truth. And Mario can't just sit there and let
everything be destroyed, now can he?
