I wanted something contrasty, since I tend to lack that. Hopefully this is closer to what I should be going for. So here is my fan gift art or whatever for KaHaTeNi.Btw, asside from the micron pens, no black (pencils) were harmed while making this image.

God Chenne, this is stunningly beautiful! One of the best pieces I've seen come out of you I think. You always were amazing with porportions, and the lighting on this is -so- well done. Very excellent job, you should be uber proud of this piece :3 The detail is really mind-boggling. What brand of colored pencils did you use? :3

I use Prang >.< I really need to get some new ones. The old ones are so old they are breaking all the time. Hehe, I have had these for years!
And I can't take all the credit. Thornwolf helped me a lot with the body through redlines. Thanx to her it came out even better!

`giggles` I love this! My sis and I were giggling at the chubbyness (Not in a bad way of course), we happen to like the chubbyness. xD

I wasn't trying to make it chubby. >.< for one you being a yote and all. I am just use to drawing more "me" so it was odd. Even still it was hard to to get it not looking too bloated. Odd. I am glad you like!
And of course I have to hold on the to orginal for a little while, but I figured I would have to let this one go one way or another. *sniffles* So yeah, in like a couple of weeks I will probably be willing to part with it.

I'm not a fan of anthro, but I really like the coloring on this. It must be hard to make an animal-thing to express emotions, though. The anitomical structure wings seem a little akward, but they still look really cool. Bitchin' job with the coloring again.

I love wings, and they tend be ackward. Funny thing is I have draw wings longer then most other things I draw now. O.o
Feel free to post a link to some good wing references. I think personally I needed help on the right wing, as it looks kinda funky being is suppose to be closer in one sence.
Btw, I forgot to metion that Thornwolf helped alot on the antomy of the Coyote and general ideas.

sorry for the crudeness of my sketch, but I don't know any wing tutorials. I think the part of the wing that's missing is that small arch upwards on the top part. Where the wing connects with the back, it starts to curve upwards before straightening out.

I think I get your drift. I did have the wings somewhat different then what they are now. But maybe not in the way you are thinking. PLus it was changed to deal with forshortening, and like I said, it looks a little messed up. :/
I have to admit though, a real photo or redline would be a lot better.
