Can't wait till they finally put themselves together and make one awesome movie out of all this >< (pacific rim works fine, and they are called rangers, so, yeah !)

One would think that, after successfully updating the old Star Trek and screwing up Star Wars, people would widen their horizons on what's 'cool' in Science Fiction. The Sentai concept is fully capable of being revised into something deep and inspiring: I look forward to seeing you help it make that jump into the realm of awesome.

It is somewhat, not the kingranger exactly but definitely the Kanji lettering(King) on the mask and the chest plate is inspired. Gold Ranger was my favorite back then and this is my only homage to it.
